Consensure – The Electronic Messaging Appraisal

Consensure is a new service for New Zealand marketers, providing customers with the confidence to send commercial electronic messages in a manner that complies with legislation and best practice.

The Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 comes into effect 5 September, 2007 prompting legitimate businesses to review their current electronic messaging practices.

More than simply legislative compliance, today’s marketers face increasing pressure from consumers and boards of directors to meet higher standards of engagement using electronic messaging channels. Senior marketers, CIOs and CFOs need to know that their business communications follow best practice and comply with new legislative requirements.

A number of marketers and agencies have already requested our help. As a result, Touchpoint has developed, in collaboration with law firm Simpson Grierson, Consensure – The Electronic Messaging Appraisal.

Consensure offers a practical operational appraisal and legal review of potentially high risk messaging, as defined by the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act.
