Touchpoint partners sweep gong fest; collects two of its own

For the third year running, trans-Tasman interactive marketing company Touchpoint has put the campaign management power behind the RSVP Grand Prix award winner of the 2007 NZ Direct and Interactive Marketing Awards.

TEQUILA\'s Unwrapped campaign for Oxfam New Zealand took the top award, using Touchpoint's communications technologies to streamline delivery of a web-based viral campaign to get Kiwis involved in donating to worthy causes. Last year Touchpoint was behind TEQUILA\'s RSVP Grand Prix award winning Adirun campaign.

But it wasn't just about Touchpoint partners, with Touchpoint's text response service TXT4INFO scooping SILVER (Media and/or Channel Utilisation) and BRONZE (Products and Services).

Oxfam Unwrapped also secured two GOLD awards (Sales Generation and Shoestring Budget). Other winners backed by Touchpoint included Tango Communications/SCA Limited for Coming of Age - Digitising the Little Treasures Baby Club Loyalty Programme, which won BRONZE (Production and Fulfilment); JustOne, e-volution (and Touchpoint) received GOLD (Innovation) and two SILVER (Strategic Vision and CRM and Data Management) for Subcard; Brave New World and Turners Auction took two BRONZE (Innovation and Media and/or Channel Utilisation) for Turners True Market Challenge.

Touchpoint marketing manager Caroline Booth says digital campaigns feature strongly because today's consumers demand interactivity "It's not just being where your customers are, you've got to let them talk to you in the way they like to talk."
