Touchpoint increases headcount, looks to add more

06 March 2006

Multi-channel marketing company Touchpoint continues to grow, increasing its headcount by three and looking to add three more senior staff.

Simone Kaho has been appointed senior account manager. Returning from the UK where she was business development manager for Euromoney Institutional Investor Plc subsidiary Global Investor Magazine, she will manage key accounts and provide agency support for the rollout of Touchpoint’s recently launched Txt4Info product.

She is a former account executive and, later, 2IC sales and marketing at TVNZ Interactive, where she was responsible for developing digital marketing solutions for agency clients.

Kaho has more than six years’ digital communications and marketing experience and holds a BCS majoring in multimedia, from AUT.

Caroline Laidlaw has been appointed project manager. Working with Touchpoint’s service delivery team, she has also recently returned from the UK, where she managed the development of the e-commerce platform for Engine-IAC Ltd subsidiary and UK sports retailer MultiSports. Laidlaw holds a BA majoring in psychology, from the University of Auckland.

Edward Chen has joined as a Java developer. He recently graduated from Massey University with a bachelor’s degree in information science, with joint majors in computer science and information systems.
