New Zealand's global talent networking organisation Kea is set
to go live with a new database and website supporting greater levels
of activity and interaction within New Zealand's global talent community.
Developed by Touchpoint, the network database and new web site
will offer a number of different membership options and a range
of features that will help members to connect and collaborate with
other Kea members.
Kea chief executive Ross McConnell said Kea had so far attracted
over 4,000 global professionals in over 70 countries.
"We've had great success over the last three years building
Kea's membership and establishing a number of active groups around
the world. Our goal now is to make the network far more interactive
and responsive, unlocking the inherent value in the network database."
Providing a single integrated backend, Touchpoint has delivered
a CRM solution to manage the Kea database; campaign management software
to manage communications; and bespoke software to enable network
members to interact and identify opportunities. Members will be
able to search the Kea member database by name, region and industry
sector to locate and contact other members. The system also includes
safeguards to protect privacy and provide members with control over
levels of visibility. Members can also view and respond to opportunities,
such as joint ventures, job openings, potential distribution partnerships
and requests for local market insights or representation, posted
by other members.
"We believe that Touchpoint's solution positions Kea as one
of the most sophisticated web sites and member networking organisations
supporting expats and New Zealand supporters. What made it easy
for us was Touchpoint's modular out-of-the-box approach for CRM,
campaign management and website content management," McConnell
said. "But they also offered the flexibility to provide custom
solutions in areas that are unique to Kea."
