Due to continued company growth a new role has arisen for a Graduate Java Developer to join our talented development team in further developing our interactive marketing software as well as developing solutions for a variety of clients in the marketing/advertising industry within New Zealand.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to be an outstanding Java programmer, have excellent attention to detail and a passion to be a part of a solution focused team.

Position Responsibilities
Development of distributed scalable solutions based on J2EE technologies:
  • Testing and bug fixing of applications, checking of data and ensuring high quality of all work carried out
  • Part of team maintaining and supporting the Touchpoint application and client applications
  • Development and maintenance of J2EE-based application software components
  • Customisation of existing product modules and development of new client modules and enhancements using Touchpoint J2EE framework
  • Opportunity for development work on the Touchpoint software

Experience/Qualifications
  • Computer Science Degree with A grade average or equivalent
  • Exposure to the following desirable:
  • Structured/Object-Orientated design desirable
  • J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlet, JDBC, JMS, EJB)
  • Web Application Development
  • Oracle
  • Linux /Unix
